UCHD COVID-19 Vaccination Volunteers
Utah County Health Department Medical Reserve Corp
Registration Instructions for BYU Volunteers for COVID-19 Vaccinations
Thank you for your willingness to volunteer to help with the Utah County Health Department’s (UCHD) COVID-19 mass vaccination effort.
We have had an amazing response from our community and BYU students. At this time the only additional volunteers we are needing are healthcare volunteers. If you are a healthcare provider qualified to administer vaccines, please visit https://www.utahresponds.org to sign up with the Medical Reserve Corporation and enter your name on this google doc to help connect you to this project https://forms.gle/fGM14bsKsjzuKaNb7. We are not needing additional general volunteers for the former Provo High School location. If we do need more volunteers in the future we will post the instructions on this page once again.
We currently have three sites up and running, including moving over to the old Provo High School from the Health Department next week. At this time the locations in Spanish Fork and American Fork will only be open two days each and Provo will be open for three and a half days. We are expecting an increase in doses starting the first week of April. If you have already volunteered the schedules are during the day Monday - Friday 8:00a - 12:45p and 12:30p - 4:30p. Volunteers are expected to work a full shift to help minimize crossover. Those that have completed their profile on Utah Responds have been sent the link to sign up for shifts. Next weeks shifts will be released on Friday Morning and registered volunteers will be able to sign up for any of the locations.
