The College of Liberal Arts and Sciences invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in the interdisciplinary Department of Public Health. We seek an active and engaged colleague who has research and teaching strengths in environmental health and justice (interests may include, but are not limited to, built environments, neighborhood effects, climate justice, sustainability, disaster preparedness, etc.). The Divisions of Pediatric Critical Care Medicine and Pediatric Hematology/Oncology are hiring a 1.0 FTE Research Coordinator to coordinate technical and administrative details involved in two clinical research studies. Assists the Principal Investigators in achieving study integrity and objectives through the successful implementation and completion of protocols and procedures. The Coordinator will work on two randomized controlled trials. The first focuses on children who develop post-traumatic stress symptoms after injury. Injured children will be recruited in the emergency department and hospital and followed for 1 month. Children who are symptomatic at one month will be invited to participate in a trial of an eHealth psychological intervention. The project will last for about 2 years. The second study involves recruiting adolescent and young adult cancer patients into a study that provides educational resources on health insurance coverage. The Coordinator will work with the interventionist to schedule sessions and assist with participating tracking and data collection. Good communication skills are needed for interacting with patients and families for both studies.
The Patient and Public Education Department at Huntsman Cancer Institute is looking for a health educator to join the team. The position is full-time, benefitted, and works in an internationally recognized patient education department that serves cancer patients and their loved ones.

Utah State University Extension invites applications for a Professional Practice Extension Assistant Professor position in Davis and Weber counties UT. This position is a non-tenure track, fiscal year 12- month/year, term appointment. Extension faculty develop, provide, evaluate, and coordinate research-based educational programs for youth and adults. Extension faculty also recruit, train and supervise volunteer leaders and serve as a liaison between local clientele, other resource agencies, and Utah State University administrators, faculty, and programs. This faculty member will have Davis and Weber counties, regional, and University responsibilities. An office will be provided at the Davis County Extension building in Kaysville, Utah. The initial focus of this position will be prevention of opioid misuse.
