Profile

While earning my degree, my greatest supporters were:
It may be a cliché, but there are too many to adequately name! My husband Aaron, my sister Spring, my heart-sisters Jessika and Theresa, my Aunt Ali, and my parents Heather and Reg all supported me in ways that were deeply important and irreplaceable to me. My drawn-out road to graduation would have been much more difficult without you all. Thank you!

What I enjoyed most about my experience at BYU was:
The opportunities to educate myself on new, interesting topics each new semester! Being able to take an Irish dance class alongside Health Behavior Change or Astronomy--there will likely never be a time in my life again where my main job is to educate myself on whatever interests me and that aspect of my college years really brought me joy.

While earning my degree I was involved in the following clubs/organizations:
Russian choir, Revolutionize Health, USGA

I plan to use my degree to:
At the very least, continue to educate myself and my family on the importance of institutionalized, preventative health measures and how that can affect our community activism. If possible, I hope to also pursue a Masters in Dietetics and work in community nutrition.

Now that I have completed the program, I'm most looking forward to:
Taking a break and enjoying parenting my son for a while without homework constantly looming over my head! I will miss many things about the student life, but endless homework after a long day of school and child care is not one of them.
