Congratulations to Emily Spendlove, who won 1st place in the Experiential Learning & Internships video contest featuring her experience volunteering with Mothers Across Borders.
Emily, a Public Health student here at BYU, had a pivotal moment for her professional and personal progress in Zambia on her summer internship with Mothers Without Borders. "My internship gave me the 'why' behind what I'm studying and what I'm doing at work. It showed me how it feels to actually be connected to the people that you're serving."
