Profile
While earning my degree, my greatest supporters were:
-My wife, parents and my sisters. They always encouraged and inspired me to give my best and to make them all proud. No way I would be where I am today without their help.
What I enjoyed most about my experience at BYU was:
-The sense of community and support in the Public Health department. The Professors all made me feel valued, respected and enabled. My peer students were always enthusiastic about the topics and helped me develop a passion for Public Health.
While earning my degree I was involved in the following clubs/organizations:
-I had the opportunity to work with the State and Local Health Department on developing Health Needs Assessments in addition to the Public Health Faculty on research and as a TA. All of those experiences helped me develop a greater enthusiasm for Public Health.
I plan to use my degree to:
-Attend the MPH program here in the Fall and plan to go on to Medical School after. I know the upstream focus of Public Health will allow me to work toward preventative measures as a physician.
Now that I have completed the program, I'm most looking forward to:
-Being able to mark that my highest level of education is “Bachelors degree” rather than “Some college” on questionnaires.
