Profile
While earning my degree, my greatest supporters were:
my family. They have been a source of strength and support throughout this whole journey.
What I enjoyed most about my experience at BYU was:
the people and classes. I have found some really great friends here at BYU & I am grateful for the classes I've taken that provided an interdisciplinary experience allowing me to make connections between the classroom and real life.
While earning my degree I was involved in the following clubs/organizations:
BYU Public Health Association Club Member, BYU Honors Program
I plan to use my degree to:
combine my knowledge of individual health and community healthcare to improve the lifestyle of immigrants and refugees in the Utah community. I hope my impact in the public health world leads to improved equity through health promotion research & collaboration.
Now that I have completed the program, I'm most looking forward to:
Having time to pick up a new hobby, spending time on the beach/running on the trails... grad school and nursing school in the fall!
