Profile
While earning my degree, my greatest supporters were:
My husband and best friend, Adam. He supported me through all the long semesters, tough tests, and late nights. He always encouraged me and told me that he believed in me. My other supporters were my parents, Mark & Brenda Burton, my in-laws, Matt & Debbie Augustine, and so many other family members. Lori Spruance was such a great mentor and really took me under her wing, teaching me so much about research, nutrition, and so many other topics. Other great supporters were my best friends, Maddy Hicken, Sabrina Maughn, Sarah Shipp, and Jessika Lyman
What I enjoyed most about my experience at BYU was:
I enjoyed the opportunity to gain a stronger testimony while also earning my degree. Through my experience at BYU, I have drawn closer to Christ as well as gained a greater knowledge of Public Health & Business.
While earning my degree I was involved in the following clubs/organizations:
BYU Public Health Association, The Ballard Center (Social Innovation & Y Mastery)
I plan to use my degree to:
Help as many people as I can. After my Masters degree, I hope to work for a non-profit organization or start my own.
Now that I have completed the program, I'm most looking forward to:
Using all the knowledge and skills to make a difference in the world.
